  It's not the same to make NEW FRIENDS, I want to keep my OLD FRIENDS - Am I right?

  i appreciate all the advice on here about making friends outside the organization.. i am making new friends, both at work and at school.. but it's not the same as old friends.. my old friends i grew up with.

  i sometimes go to the movies with them, dumb movies.

  like that night at the museum, smithsonian one.

  What is wrong with a new Friend, be patient. Then they will be your old Friend.

  Give your new Friend a chance. You want Friends that will like you for yourself

  And don't want to change you. I think about my old Friends, but I 'm glad I moved on.

  ok it's no secret my mother is seriously ill. the neighbors and friends who have grown to love her are constantly asking for updates.

  at the end of virtually every conversation is stated, i'll pray for her or some other mention of divine request.. in the other corner are the multitide of jw's i've known and helped over the years.

  no mention of prayers.. i know it's obvious but the love from heritics clearly out paces "the friends".. i'm just annoyed that's all.. .

  What's Your Opinion: Is Legal Marriage Important?

  hey everyone,.

  so i've been thinking about marriage a lot lately, with same-sex marriages being approved in some states, banned in others, and flip-flopped in still others (see: california).. i recently read an article in my local newspaper about how marriage is a personal and religious union that has no business being in any of our laws, and that the laws should instead be for a legal domestic relationship, to establish and recognize legal families, and that marriage should be altogether separate from that.

  i really agreed with all that was said in the article.. i want to get married.

  I lived with my Husband for 15 years before we got married. We are Married 11 years now, and Happy.

  if a medical emergency happened - in case my witness relatives tried forcing the " no-blood transfusion " pressure on the doctors. If you are married your mate makes that decision.

  And it is a protection for property rights etc. So there are benefits, yes.

  When you go to do your Taxes and Property Taxes. You need to be Married.

  If one of you don't have health Insurance. By getting Married, you both have it.

  when one of you retired, it is good to be Married.

  If you have Children, what would say to the Children.

  What is important to you and how you feel about Marriage.

  We have a Air show every year. Its Free, a real good show, Its the blue Angels.

  people were created by god as heterosexual, but some are today homosexual as a result of imperfection - punishment for disobedience of adam a eve..... but why there is so much homosexuality among god created animals?

  Sending Out a Letter to My JW Daughter - Give Me Your Thoughts Please

  some of you probably read my jw daughter's letter to mrs. flipper and me a few weeks ago where she tried explaining to mrs. flipper why she doesn't have anything to do with me ( says i talk negative towards the organization ) .

  in that letter though she showed some flashes of her authentic, kind personality and told us she loves us.

  but much of the letter was proselytizing to us about how bad the system is and how jeovah will bring a paradise, etc.
